All ass, no class..

I make it no secret that I love really big knickers.  And I certainly make it no secret that I ADORE my enormous polka dot M&S women's knicker-shorts (think boxer shorts, but not as long in the leg).  Infact, if I could - I'd wear them every day.  But I only have five pairs, and I don't do the laundry often enough..

They're comfy, and quite frankly - they make my bum look GOOD. 

However, they're not sexy.  At all.  They're somewhere between granny pants and children's knickers.. On account of the rather vivid polka dots and erm, lets say, large size.. 

Now, I have a certain pair of trousers, which I adore.. So much so that the clip that fastens them is rather loose (from wearing them for years, and refusing to get rid of them)..  Today I'm stood outside smoking, talking to one of the management team - who suddenly becomes rather flustered, makes his excuses, and leaves.

Yep, you guessed it.. 

The big polka dot pants were peeping out of a little hole made by the USELESS clip, which had come undone.  Now it's not like there was a huge amount of polka dot pants showing - but enough to make it obvious that yes, they were dotty, and yes, they were incredibly sensible.

You'd think I wouldn't be laughing about this, wouldn't you?  But I had to go hide in the toilets until my fits of giggles had stopped... And I'm still laughing about it now.

There's a saying that sexy underwear makes you feel good.  You know what?  No.  My enormous dotty pants make me feel fabulous.  I almost had another fit of giggles when a certain member of the management team - looking rather embarassed, muttered "errrrr, bye..." when I said bye to him as I left work this evening. 

Let's face it - if you take yourself too seriously, no one else will take you seriously at all.  And if you can't laugh at yourself, well, quite frankly, you're just no fun! :)

My enormous knickers and I will conquer the world.  Or at least force people to develop a sense of humour!
